ROOFTOP LANDSCAPING

SURFACES FOR ROOFTOP SPACES

For many buildings, the roof is a purely functional component that protects the building from the elements. At GEOGRASS, we see rooftops as an opportunity to transform space into a place where people can gather to socialize, enjoy a round of putt-putt golf or just relax in the “healing environment” associated with green spaces.

Bringing Beauty to the Top of the World

GEOGRASS is soft, safe, comfortable and easy to maintain – making it perfect for rooftop courtyards or play areas. Not only does it share the environmental benefits of all of our synthetic landscaping turf, but it has many other benefits specific to rooftop applications.

BENEFITS

GEOGRASS turf always looks bright, green and fresh-cut, even in the harshest conditions. It’s soft, safe, comfortable, easy to maintain – and the perfect complement to any courtyard or landscaping project.

Installation Over Rooftops / Concrete Base / Outdoor Tiles

The key to any rooftop installation of GEOGRASS turf typically lies in ensuring water can drain through the turf and be routed to the drainage systems. Given this, GEOGRASS range of Grass carries 90 holes per square meter avoiding any water to stay over the grass but to drain.

Once installed on the concrete base or tiles and glued with GEOGLUE into the pressure threated support border followed with silica sand infill to give more natural look and limiting any movement or shifting to the turf.
